Faith, sacrifice, and community since 1944.
Grace Community Church was established in 1944 by Rev. Emmanuel Mensah, who left Ghana to build a congregation that would serve London's growing West African community. For eighty years it has been a place of belonging for hundreds of families who arrived in Britain with little and built something lasting.
To preserve the living memory of those who gave everything to build this community, and to welcome those who are still adding to its story.
Joined the congregation in 1998. Has served as Senior Pastor since 2009. She is the first woman to hold the role in the church's eighty-year history.
Member since 1984. Chairs the board of trustees and leads the restoration of the original pews built by Deacon Osei.
